EVE Women’s Ministry
Everlasting Victory Eternally Women’s Ministry’s purpose is to encourage nurture and disciple women, through scripture (study), to become enthusiastic disciples of Jesus Christ, as we each become the woman that God created us to be. In addition, we promote spiritual growth, a personal relationship with God, a loving relationship with one another, and advance the goals of our church family and community. We support and strive to complement the existing ministries and we support our church.
Ministry to Men
This is an organization for the men, young men and boys of all ages, the purpose is to nurture, train and prepare our men to stand for Jesus Christ in every facet of their life. We study God’s word so that we will be the men of excellence that he is calling for. We are teaching the young men and boys the importance of becoming a real man of prayer, loving the Lord, being kind and respectful to everyone and not abusing themselves and others especially our young ladies.
Children’s Ministry “Jesus and Me”
Our primary goal in Children’s Church is to nurture and teach children the Word of God and help them to grow in the knowledge of God. We try to provide an atmosphere that promotes learning in a fun environment and exciting ministry so children will look forward to coming and participating in the activities held each third Saturday of the month Super Saturday. A time to learn, a time to fellowship, food, lots of fun games and excitement.
Christian Youth Fellowship
The Christian Youth Fellowship is to teach, reach and bring souls to Christ through spiritual leadership, fellowship and worship for our youth ages 12-17.
The role of the Lay Council in the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church is Serving, Seeking, Sharing and Studying. We are to train, nurture and build up the local congregations through study, workshop and assist the pastor in any way we are needed.
Women’s Missionary Society
It is the mission and purpose of the Miles Chapel Women’s Missionary Society to share the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ with unsaved men, women and children at home and abroad. The society encourages fellowship, and mutual counsel concerning the spiritual life and religious activities of the church and the surrounding community. The development of programs for people of all ages, processes and resources are essential component of the work of the Miles Chapel Women’s Missionary Society.
